Canon's flagship Speedlite 550EX provides the best combination of
features and power in any Speedlite to date. It has a max Guide
Number of 180 (ft., ISO 100), uses E-TTL flash metering, and
includes a built-in wireless transmitter unit for control of other
Speedlites as slave units to achieve different lighting effects.
Other features include an AF-Assist Beam with two emitting units,
FEB (Flash Exposure Bracketing), FE lock, a modeling flash feature,
and much more. The 550EX is compatible with Compact Battery Pack
CP-E2 or Transistor Pack E, and AA batteries.
